Also hit by this bot "The Python Robot" - Not sure if this has something to do with it.

One of those more difficult robots to gather information and easily categorise. The Python Robot was originally written by Guido van Rossum and is supposedly inactive. However, if using Awstats for your site statistics it is likely that anything with the word python could be identified as such. For example Python-urllib. This is based upon an open source project with one of the implementations being for the wiki style of web site.

I am using AWstats and the site is a blog.

Any ideas?
