Soon we will have those gentle 100+ mph winds, a free sauna just outside of everyone's door, the soothing roar of generators, and my favorite a free insect collection for all.

I can't wait to see what my Windstorm insurance rate is this year. I'm just a half mile from the ocean on the west side of the Intercostal waterway so I'm in the state high risk pool which means I get to pay some of the highest rates in the state.

On the plus side I own zero warm clothes, don't have a furnace for my home, and no need to winterize anything.

I'm guessing that we will get hit with a cat 3 this year. Going to order 200 gallons of gas for my generator in about a month and have 50 gallons of bottled water delivered too.
