Pagerank Explained Correctly with Examples

Errr... examples? The author says guesses. Some of those are based on a years old patent. Outside of a few software techs at google and maybe Matt Cutts I am not sure anybody knows exactly how it works. Mainly because google dont count all the links and their method for excluding or allowing them is really... um weird bordering on the insane. I have one blog where google is cheerfully giving me 83 backlinks of which 55 are from within the same blog... all the pundits say google wont count those but it is.
