Things have changed since this morning. They put out a network ticket for our area yesterday. All of a sudden today, all of our phones started working better. Far from perfect but...good enough to wait on the switch.

And, I really don't want to screw up my chance to unload some land that only generates $40-50K/15 or so years. And, they are only talking about less than one acre of the 55 or 56 I own.
