Replaced the roof shingles late November (a lot of fucking money!) and early December the compressor in the furnace goes... $3,000. Then a week ago our front loading Samsung washer doesn't work, seems it's the bearing which I'm told is like $300-500 to fix due to the labor involved so it's best to just buy a new one at $200 extra... all within weeks before Christmas.

I just replaced our dryer for the same reason. At least it has a new warranty for a couple years. That's always my thought process.
