A relative who I have not seen since last year came over for dinner. So the morning was spent dusting, vacuuming, moping, and generally trying to make this place look more like a home and less like a place where you keep pigs.

Used his visit as an excuse to cook a meal my dietitian would kill me for, if he knew. Chicken with a lot of cheese (two types of cheese) and wrapped in bacon, with a side that was basically a twist on an afro/caribbean recipe. The twist made it even more unhealthy, and believe me it is difficult to make afro/caribbean food more unhealthy that it originally was.

Both the chicken and the "twist" on the afro/caribbean side were my own recipe, so I was pleased my guest did not vomit!

After eating we went to a bar for a drink, and I was accosted by a very drunk, skinny Chinese guy who wanted to know my "secret" of how to get to be fat, as he was fed up of being skinny. I should have given him my dinner recipes, they are guaranteed to make a matchstick fat!

He also said that he thought my guest looked like a Chinese deity. I said that's probably because every time he walks into a room someone says "Oh God, not you again!"
