Happy Super Bowl Sunday

I was stunned -- we got to watch it live at like 2am. No commercials, Finnish commentators the first quarter, but hey, it was free. I can't tell you how cool it was to see an actual game. My husband likes the game enough we will look into getting some sort of viewing package next season.

And, JR... I was born in Los Angeles and lived there for over 40 years, but sadly I am not a Rams fan. I am part of that group that loved them when they were loyal to the city, but got turned off when they moved to St Louis. I had to go with NE on this one.

We got sunshine.. we got snow.. we got lots of snow, and I don't have to shovel it this week. Oh, that, and one of the best ski jumpers of all time died yesterday. Matti Nykänen became somewhat of a joke after he quit jumping and kept our tabloids full of drunk rages, domestic violence, and missed gigs. He lived a very hard life, dying at just 55. Sad sad guy.
