Day One of desktopless computing. I managed to get all of the gallery stuff onto my flash drive, but I didn't grab any of my personal stuff. Yesterday afternoon, it bit the dust and won't boot all the way. I think the data is safe as we do see a desktop eventually, but it keeps rebooting - motherboard or SSD boot drive bad. Harsh part - there are very few repair places here anymore, and it is summer so people close down for vacation. The only businesses that really shut down were restaurants, bars, gyms, and offices. Stores stayed open the entire time. I do have a new one on order, but for a few days I have to wait... and wait... and wait. Then we drive to go get it.
