Funny you have this.

Couple days after my root canal last week the tooth area healed but above the gum in my cheek became very inflammed and sensitive.

It was just below my eye socket and felt like a small marble in my cheek.

Called the dentist and described it.

They gave me 500mg penicillin 4x/day for 7 days.

Unlike other infections it took several days for things to start getting better like ladydesigner mentioned.

It's about 80% better now and I go back to complete the root canal tomorrow.

Take your medicine and let time heal. Not much choice.
