Richard's Realm Question

I'm looking for a clarification on one of the rules for free site listings on Richard's Realm:

"Sites which are nothing more than an extra directory on a domain name which is already on my list. "

I acknowledge that this may be a "go sit in the corner and put on your dunce cap" question, but does this mean that multiple sites with different content, niches and page designs which happen to be in subdirectories of the same domain aren't acceptable?

I just want to clarify since if I'm only going to submit one free site per domain I'll have to be very selective.

Thanks.
