Thanks for your thoughts and words of encouragement.

Ya know a funny thing happens in times like this and I always have to ask myself why...

Example: My wife and I have boy/girl twins yet I never recall ever seeing twins at any of the family reunions growing up or hearing about twins in the family tree - until we had them ofcourse...

Then it was "Oh yes your aunt and uncle so and so had twins" or "Yeah there were twins on your wife's mom's side of the family"...

When I told my own mom and dad about my DVT they were like "Oh you had an uncle that died from an embolism"; "Remember your aunt so and so that had a stroke and died from her DVT?"...

WTF???

There ought to be a law that parents and inlaws make full disclosure of all health related issues and mental cases in the family - I think sometimes they either conveniently forget to tell us about such things or think it is protecting us in some way not to mention that Aunt Betty's heart exploded and Uncle Bud died of cancer or whatever.

BTW besides heredity, DVT can be caused from pressure on the backs of your legs from too much sitting, so I am officially going shopping for the cushiest friggin office chair I can find this week. I'm thinking bean bag chair on wheels...
