i need to nag

I talked to stu the whole time this site was being built. I saw her metas and I do remember asking her about them and if the extra tags that I didn't have on my other sites at the time helped. She said they were good to have and I copied them. The page that she speaks of first is called test2 and was a page in progress. I had used another page from my site, copied her metas into it, and turned it into a new page on my site for links. It was never to be uploaded like that with the meta text not being replaced. When I had to do a total domain upload it got uploaded and I wasn't aware of it.

As I said above, I asked her about the metas and she said that the ones I didnt' have were good to have. When they were copied into that test page, the entire page was changed and uploaded. I had to do a total domain upload and obviously the test page got uploaded. When stu came to me a month ago and said that I copied her, I asked many times and all she would give me is the root domain. I had no idea at that time what she was talking about as the index page was fine and had been there for almost 3 years. She had link trades on it, she had seen it when I first went live with the site. I remember back during the summer, she was telling me that I should have a separate link page and I should call it 'sex links' and put it on my categories, so I built it. Obviously, using a test page from my computer and forgetting to change the metas on it. I even remember showing her the links page and she nor I noticed that I had mistakenly left her metas in the page. When it was mentioned in this thread the exact page she was referring to, I changed the metas. There is no test page on my computer or the server. I saw the yahoo cache and looked on the server for this test2.html and there is no such page. Stu has given my ideas throughout the time I have known her just as any webmasters share information. I have shown her most all of my work and this is the first and only time anything has been said and the part that is bothersome to me the most is that she has seen this site since the very beginning and that was 3 years ago. There was no mention then or anytime since about anything on this site being copied. The only thing copied were some meta tags that I didnt' have and that I had spoken to her about. That was done this past summer when I added the links page. This has been changed and taken care of. End of story. A mistake made, and fixed. Had I been aware of it prior to, or had I been told about the page it would have been taken care of then.

The only reason Kre8t0r came into this is because I was so upset that someone I considered a friend/co-worker turned on me like a rabid dog instead of telling me what was upsetting her. Instead she tells me part of it, and then posts rants. This has nothing to do with him. He did not build that page. The page in question was done after the site was finished and had been there three years.
