How long to submitt?

Let me repeat, at the risk of being a pain,
6- Some link list have accepted none of my submissions and have out right rejected me.
As stated, I can live with that, no problem, you don't like my site, you tell me you don't like it, I can accept it and live with it and well maybe the next one you will like and accept. 19 out of 20 list THAT RESPOND accept it, cool , I'm happy.
I am not asking why it was rejected, most often if you follow the rules it is a matter of taste. I love the rejections that tell me the content is inappropriate. Is this the porn biz or what? I am saving those rejections for the day the Smithsonian mounts an exhibit on the dawn of internet porn.
But here is the real problem to be addressed.....and I quote you
"many of the larger link sites simply don't have the time to do so...(send out rejection emails) "
So how long do I continue submitting to a site that does not respond to my submissions or accepts one submission and ignores the next 29.
So my experienced pros,how long?
