I think the sponsors and such have figured it out - the traffic isn't going to change, it is just going to come from other places. It isn't the programs that are getting screwed, but the individual US based webmasters who are going to get a forced anal probe.

Alex - not at all - while I agree that some business models will not survive, and some others will be forced to change a bit (a little extra work once they get caught up) there is an opening for literally hundreds of thousands of hits of traffic that will have to go somewhere
- its up to the individual WMs to figure out whereSecondly - there will be some foreign entities that dont want to provide documentation that will be forced out of business when US WMs stop using them for lack of documentation - all the better for some well organized US companies to fall into their place and keep the business going - I thought it was well put by the DOJ's responses in that they recognized some overseas companies wouldnt want to comply - just as some export companies dont like to label other goods properly - and that will just hurt them in the long run if we cant document something. |
