Here's what I got from Licensed Content in email. X-Originating-IP: [68.230.241.34] From: "sales" <sales@licensedcontent.com> To: "Selena" Subject: Re: 2257 Question/Fetish Brokers Content Date: Thu, 9 Jun 2005 22:28:23 -0700 X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2180 X-Antivirus: AVG for E-mail 7.0.323 [267.6.6] Gecko Productions LLC would like to take a moment to thank everyone for their assistance and patients concerning the new 18USC2257 regulations. We have been very busy for the past 9 months scanning, coping and data inputting all the talent we have photographed since we began producing content in 1996. To date we have cataloged close to 4,000 models, 600 hours of video and over 7,000 image sets. These include content produced by the following producers: Gecko Productions LLC Photographer: David Slaughter DBA: StudioBound.com LicensedContent.com DigitalXTC.com Gecko Productions LLC purchased the intellectual property of these companies and not their companies. We have made every effort possible to verify the authenticity of all documents presented to us by each producer at the time of sale to us. We did not receive copies of their outstanding licensing agreements. PW Productions Producer: Larry Pytlak DBA: ParadiseWebs.com L&M Entertianmet Producer: Mike Jones DBA: CDBabes.com PluginPorn.com WE DO NOT HAVE ALL DOCS FOR ALL PRODUCERS LISTED ON CDBABES.COM Synister Productions Producer: DBA: Synister Films Hand Job Content Virtual Ventures Producer: Brent Daughtry DBA: NicheImages.com Tassel Productions Producer: Spider DBA: FetishBrokers.com WE DO NOT HAVE ALL DOCS FOR ALL PRODUCERS LISTED ON FETISHBROKERS Uncle Jesse Productions Producer: Jess Christe DBA: UncleJesse.com If you purchased materials from companies others than Gecko Productions LLC. all content was delivered to best of our knowledge in full compliance with existing statuettes and regulations at time of sale. Gecko Productions has worked very diligently to enter pertinent information into our new talent management system - my2257 over the past months to aiding assisting you in meeting the requirements of the current 18USC2257 regulations. We will provide copies of Identifications to those that request them in writing. We request copies of your licensing agreement be sent with your request as to the authenticity your request for said documents. To protect the models rights and privacy we will not just randomly send out unedited copies of models ids. Upon presentation of a valid licensing agreement we will issue you compliant copies of needed documentation. If you can not provide us with a copy of a license agreement we will not issue you unedited copes of talents identifications. Gecko Productions will be charging for this service. We can not afford to offer this as a free service. We have received nearly 100 requests for documentation since the 17th of May 2005. Price structure we feel is very fair and just helps us to cover the added payroll and productions expenses we have encored to meet this current demand. Pricing will be $5.00 USD per image set we need to pull for you. If you have multiple sets of a single model we will only charge you once for pulling her ids and matching them to the dates of production. It has always been your responsibility to keep track of your licenses and documentations such as receipts. If you can not provide us with a valid license agreement you have two options: First option is to remove this content from your site. The second option is to repurchase the image sets at a 50% discount with all the pertinent documentation. We appreciate your past business and look forward to continued business relations in the future. We understand these are trying times on all of us and the burden of these new regulations is immense. Please feel free to contact me at dws@geckoproductions.net or (702) 457-6833 if you have any questions. Sincerely, David Slaughter Okay, I know I am a ditz, but I've read and read that, and I still don't have a clue as to what he has compliant docs for, and what he doesn't. If I'm understanding it correctly, he has no docs from the producers I have purchased from in the last 1.5 years, outside of the couple of sets I bought with Studio Bound as the producer. |
