The satellite images are pretty good. Google mentions some of the images can be as old as three years old. Some parts of Nova Scotia showed snow, so I figure some of those images were taken last spring at the earliest.
One thing that gets me, I can see homes in the rural area I grew up - except MY PARENTS HOUSE! Literally, the fucking thing stops showing data half way up the short road leading to their house. I told mother not to worry about satellites watching them.
The pics of Bejing and New York are amazing. You can literally see the people in the square and in the streets.
