Good Thursday Morning

I have a friend from Israel her name is Gori. She lives in Miami now but says that she does miss Israel but feels a lot safer here. Anyway she would tell me about how they wait for terrorist attacks there because afterwards there would be great after bombing sales at the stores and restaurants.

We read about stuff like this happening in the middle east each day. Sure puts more of a face on things when it hits this close to home even if it is still an ocean away.

We live in a crazy and dangerous world.

As to the day in my little world…
Spent a few hours at the dentist yesterday. He looked at my molar and wanted to just pull it. Not that there was anything wrong with the tooth, just real bad gum recession around it. It's the only place in my mouth with problems and I really would like to keep all my teeth so instead I had them do a deep cleaning of my gum and packed it with antibiotic plugs. Strange thing was that once it was all cleaned up, after over an hour of scraping its root, it totally stopped hurting. It was like getting a splinter removed and now it feels great. Got to go back in a month to have it looked at again and so that he can suck some more money out of my bank account.

Keeping an eye on the hurricane heading our way. Right now it looks like hurricane strength winds should miss where I live but still should get some pretty nasty winds.
