I just noticed that your location says Glens Falls, NY. I have friends there!!

Somewhere in that town, there's a little hot dog stand that has a drive up window, and they sell Dirt Dogs in boxes of like, 12. . .do you know what I'm talking about?

I haven't been up there in YEARS but I remember those hotdogs, and they were so good!!

And yes, dirt dogs...yummy. There's a little diner called New Way Lunch, which is often referred to as Dirty John's, and they are the fine folks that sell dirt dogs. Of course, you won't see them on the menu listed as 'Dirt Dogs'.
