any suggestions?
In Firefox, Smut Gremlins recips do not look as intended - middle part of recip consists of two lines while in IE it's one line of marquee text only.

Some other recips also are different eg http://freepicssex.com/ recips are also bigger in FF.

Other point - recips which use colored table borders do not look the same in FF and IE.

I guess it would be good for every TGP/LL owner to look at their text recips in FF.

I have surfers not webmasters on all but one of my sites. Across all of my site 90+% use IE. So why should I care about FF?

If you feel the need to fix a recip by all means do so.

Just a reminder note from me, just trying to help. It's not a rule anyone should care what 10% of surfers see.

Interesting - my logs show an 18% use of FF or Mozilla the past month (maybe 16% allowing for my own accesses on the logs).

Guess it comes down to what percentage of potential sales one is willing to forgo. But the numerical trend is certainly away from IE even if it is still used by the majority.

I can think of only one good reason. If something is displaying improperly in Firefox, it's almost always coded incorrectly. There are some CSS elements that are anitquated that work in IE, but not FF, but they usually won't have any significant effect on appearance. If webmasters are happy with coding incorrectly, good for them. But they can't blame those of us who would like to see things coded correctly so it won't fuck up our own pages.

Alot of LLs use <font> instead of CSS. One advantage is <font> is lighter than CSS without a CSS file. The obvious disadvantage is when a page uses CSS it screws up all the recips coded using fonts.

It's time to overthrow the font tags recips and check everything in FF instead of IE

My only beef with Smutgremlin recips is the tags overlap (e.g. <font><a></font></a>).

All you nit pickers enjoy. I make good money coding by hand. Since I am human and I have a limited time (24 hours) in a day I sometimes make mistakes.

I'm convinced that there are less than 24 hours per day, but that's a discussion for my therapist.

I don't think it's being nit-picky to expect things to be done correctly. Besides, you know the old saying, "Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach". Just call me Professor Useless.
