Wow! Text based games are something I haven't thought about in a long while.

I remember playing Zork and some other text games. I also used to play LORD (Legend of the Red Dragon) on the local BBS back before the Internet took over...

Hah hah - I had LORD and quite a few other games on my BBS - still have the original disks as a matter of fact - but loved playing that one. The Zork series was fantastic - especially the old text ones - but when the old games for the TRS and Vic20 came out those rocked
