I also played some LORD and I had a bbs on PCBoard. Those were the days! You can actually use telnet to enter your old bbsīs if you set them up! I tried that with my old bbs and told some friends about it, but it was like 2000 i tried that. If you want to put your board back online you need netfoss and then itīs ready to go on telnet!

LOL - I ran Wildcat on a 2 line mega BBS called The Post - can even remember having to buy one of those 6 CD changers for all the d/l files - and then becoming the lead node for the different networks like Fido etc - till a friend bought the planet satellite and he took over (thank goodness)
I remember tossing mail using an old open source program called Binkley that I had to rewrite to work with my stuff - just looked back and saw all the different doors I had and a brand new disk full of IGMs for LORD I never got around to installing ![]() |
