It would seem that Rove has been a bit pre-occupied with other things to allow his bitch to make such a silly nomination. It is interesting that this happened today of all days. The CIA leak is no longer the top story of the day.

I think you've nailed it on the head. Every time this administration is in trouble the terror alert rises or there is a scare or something like this happens to distract people.
