Personaly I wouldnt mix TGP traffic with blog traffic at all. I would buy a brand new domain and hosting for your new blog so that TGP surfers cant go inside your blog. But that is only my opinion!

You had to know that if you put "opinion" in the thread title that I'd have to post.
 Firstly, I think the name is friggin' wunderbar. Secondly, I have no way of knowing how often a blog surfer returns to each blog he/she reads, but I'm betting that you could get away with updating less than daily. Thirdly, if you feel that the site isn't meeting its potential as a TGP, I don't think that dropping a blog on it would hurt. Seems like it could only help. You might lead some of those "reading types" to the galleries and you might teach some of the free-loading porn surfers how to read. Fourthly, what the fuck happened to Boogie?
