And nope ...nothing to do with me... but I have to admit it did originally give me the idea for http://hunfreeporn.com since loadsa people search for the Hun and loadsa people search for free porn.
I'm sure GG just loves your idea of marketing as it has adversely afected him in the past and he's asked for this kind of shit not to be brought up.

I read DangerDave's post to you the other day, and while I don't have his gentle and eloquent demeanor, I seriously suggest you re-read his post and think about what he said if you want to continue on in this community.

BTW, this is coming from a Preacher who doesn't normally stir the pot.

i do remember a time that if someone posted a url on a board with one of the names of an other linksite or tgpsite or whatever site in it, that those person got killed bizz wise. One thing which never can be accepted is using a name from an other in your sites......its stealing traffic, no doubt, no respect from me here! And i know you dont care , but then i am free to post my opinion here.

2. Whether they themselves paid for the content in the first place or whether it came free from a sponsor or even from a source they cant remember!

3. Whether they stole it to start with

I expect people to steal a certain amount of my stuff, its all digitally watermarked and in some cases carries difficult to remove advertising for my sites. For example if somebody goes to http://hunfreeporn.com/webcam/kermit.html and steals the picture to post on a website or email to all their friends I regard that as viral marketing.

Personally I believe that the old hacker ethos 'Data wants to be Free!' is whether we like it or not alive and well.

Just waiting for my digitally watermarked Spantaneous Exstacy picture set that got stolen by hackers from my members area to appear on a big commercial site then I will sue their Ass for megabucks. That got stolen before I even made it available to the members but I never did so that I can track it. So far my search bot found two pics from the set posted to a linkdump but the people concerned aint worth prosecuting.
Im with you on the content being stolen and posted being good marketing, Im gettting bashed on another thread for having these views.

As for the domain thing, well thats personal choice, I dont think the hun will loose any sleep over it and better a visable webmaster have it then some iffy spammer from the back end of russia.

You might be able to make an arguement about marketing in news groups and things like that but stolen content being placed inside of a large advertisment for someone elses products? A TGP gallery is a large ad for some company and stealing my content to improve an ad for another company is not marketing.

Everyone that thinks it through knows this.

You are not being bashed, just argued with. There will be no mistaking it when the bashing begins.

Again, not bashing you, but you are wrong. The Hun grabs a lot of domains from people like this guy, who are attempting to steal his traffic by using his good name. You don't remain big if you allow every little webmaster to bend you over like that. Anyone who purchases a domain that incorporates a known trademark IS an iffy webmaster. And take my word on this - Mattinblack is beyond fucking iffy.

Am I the only one who considers this guy to be a dirt bag? He rips off his peers, seeks advice about ripping off hookers, and now cheats his sponsor with
PHP Code:
"To get more Free Camgirl Time
The system uses cookies to track the time you spend on site. when your free few minutes run out just clear your browsers cookies and click on the girl again. You can do this all night if you want! "

Makes me wonder if he realizes that by fucking his sponsor, he is fucking him. "Hey click on my sponsor links, but don't buy anything!" What an idiot.

SmithsMedia, you are completely missing the point.

It's not about effective tactics or how much money you can make out of some cheesy trick. It's about business ethics. Now who in their right mind willl do business with matt, except other cheaters from east of Poland?

I suppose it's probably a natural byproduct of this board getting busier...and more people posting, but sure does seem like a lot of folks are doing either stupid or outright shady shit thereby shooting themselves in the foot these days

Not missing the point, I couldn't agree with you more about business ethics. Personally I know nothing about martin nor do I do buisiness with him.
