Roughly 20-30 seconds seems good enough. You could go longer but why? In 30 seconds you can surely give them all they need to see and if you can do it shorter then great. A closing graphic is a good idea for sure.

The one I worked on yesterday is about 25 seconds long at 8.5mb. I think I need to optimize. I wanted the domain watermark to fade in at the bottom, but it shows dead center of the clip.
The clip I'm toying with doesn't seem as much fun as the ones you see on OC or TGG sites.Do you think a single edited scene (jumping ahead multiple times to sample the action) is best, or should I mix a few different scenes of different couples into one clip since I really don't want to push multiple trailers?

I think you need to work on that optimization, unless you are selling high-def, lol. The trailers MadHatter is making for our new site are 45 sec long are 2.6mb. What are you using? You can always pm me and I can give you his contact info, sure he could give some suggestions on how to get the water mark placed right, etc. Don't ask me though, I do pics, not video, lol. The trailers he has made have a graphic opening, and closing, so the actual "action" is only 25 sec.
