Good Bright Wednesday Morning

It's going to be another hardware geek day for me.

Yesterday Angel had both her Comcast cable modem and Earthlink ADSL go down so I got spend a few hours on the phone with both of them but her Earthlink is still down.

Then my neighbor is back in town and I'm setting up new hardware for his security cameras. The PC he was using died while he was out of town, motherboard is fried, so we are using the Apple G5 Mac tower that he sitting in his junk room. For software going with SecuritySpy and then to interface his four existing cameras with the computer using these XLR8 video to USB adaptors. The cameras he has have BNC connectors so we also have BNC to RCA cables coming although I'm not positive that you can just stick a BNC to RCA connector and it will work but I guess I'll find out when everything gets here today.

I seem to remember retiring from computer consulting. Hopefully by tomorrow I can get back to selling porn for a living.
