I'm probably going to be fairly scarce for a while folks. Got some things here than need to be dealt with...and no, it's not my butt

This day seems to be just like all the others this week. Cold as hell and just a regular day of work planned.

I do need to take care of some stuff for my softball team. Seems like the team got too big with too many players and we are seperating into 2 different teams. And the guys that are in my "group" it seems that I have been nominated one of the leaders, if not the coach entirely. So I gotta call around about getting a sponsor or 2 and find out how much uniforms are gonna cost. And make sure we are gonna have enough guys that are gonna show up on a regular basis. The coach last year is one of those slacker unmotivated type of guys and the only reason he coached last year was because my father-in-law who usually coaches just didnt want to do it last year. Well my father-in-law last year said something about getting a team going again, but didnt want to steal any of the guys. Well no one wanted to take charge on either side so I was under the assumption that the coach from last year wasnt gonna be able to have his own team because of his new job, and that my father-in-law was gonna coach but still have the same group of guys. So I started calling some of the guys to get together and get the ball rolling since we have to be registered and have the money turned in by Friday the 16th. Finally heard from the the guy that coached last year yesterday around noon (the meeting was 7 last night) and he said he would be there that night and that he still wanted to play, and that he would call the guys I didnt have the contact info for and let them know. So at the meeting last night there are only 3 of us there (my father-in-law got a call from work and there are 5 or 6 people that we know are gonna play with us buy couldnt be there). After making a bunch of phone calls and a bunch of he said she said bullshit the coach from last year is pissed thinking that we were trying to steal his players and called everyone saying he is having a team and they are suppose to be having a meeting Friday, haha, and that was right after he told me he was gonna be there. This guy and his 2 sons that play have always had pissy cry baby attitudes and they aint that great of players anyways (his 2 sons said they would be there too, but when asked about it they claimed they didnt know anything about last night). Last year he recruited a couple of really good guys that took us from a just below .500 team to only losing 2 games in the fall league. I guess he thinks he can lose 3/4 of the core guys (the entire infield and 2 outfielders) take his 2 "star" outfielders and fill in the rest of the spots with bozos and be a better team. The kicker is that him and at least one of his son's are suppose to be "men of god" haha considering they are wanna be preachers (no formal credentials, but have their own church with 7 people) and go and pull this shady drama queen bullshit. All I wanted to do is play ball with the same group of guys and get the ball rolling since the time to register is coming up and no one had done anything yet, and it turned into this big ass mess.

So I guess I do have a few different things going on today to spice the day up.
