With the current amount of visitors i'm getting, i'm sending around 300 uniques per day to a program i'm pushing.

That's 9000 uniques per month.
If i find myself a good program (still testing waters) that converts at 1:500 (certainly possible) i'll make 18 sales @ $35 per sale= $630 per month with that 1 site

That's already pretty good for a noob if you ask me

So for now i'm still looking for a sponsor that converts best with my traffic, the rest will follow...

the key word here is "IF"

Yes that is pretty good for a noob or and Oldie .. for 1 site. BUT according to your post you are basing your concept on a lot of "IFs" ..

If i find a good program (long term testing of several is necessary)
If you can get it to convert at 1:500 which yes is possible for the right niche traffic.
IF you can find a program that pays consistently AND converts at 35.00

all based on 300 uniques per day.

What converts for 1 webmaster doesn't necessarily convert for another.

the MORE traffic you have (see Ramster's post) the better your chances are of converting.

You have the right idea and thinking for the biz. However, not all traffic is created equal and some sites/tours just won't convert with your traffic. Just a FYI, I have sent 9000 uniques to a program before and made 0 sales. Then again, I have sent 9000 uniques to another sponsor and made 75+ sales.

So, what is the quality of your traffic? Is it general or niched? Are you targeting ads/sites towards the traffic? In other words, if you have anal traffic, are you showing anal ads?

These are some of the things I would look at first to try to improve the sales.

Just don't expect it to be real easy to get the money flowing and prepare for lots of work.

I currently run a software business (affiliate) so I know that it requires hard work and a lot of testing to make a steady income from a site.

After a week of testing I noticed a lot of my visitors were interested in teens and cams, so i'm pushing those two at the moment to see how it goes.
For the cams, i'm currently usings cams.com affiliate program and after two days i got already several free trial signups. I'm at 1:9 for the free signups so that is already very good and it shows my traffic is really interested in that. So let's stick with that a few weeks and see how it converts |badidea|

Yeah but 80% of these things are facts. Like almost every good affiliate program these days pays it's affiliates at least $35 per signup so that is not a problem at all.

After hearing out a lot of adult webmasters, 1:500 is a pretty do-able conversion rate so that won't be a problem either (only takes time to find the right program(s) for my traffic)


So I guess time will show if it's possible or not.
