Greenguy and Jim, I have realized that I have completely forgotten my manners and apologize profusely. I am learning so many new things about this business that my mind is just jumbled and
 I just realized that I haven't specifically said hi and thank you for running such a nice board with such a great community of members. MrYum has a lot of respect for you and all I've ever heard were real good things. Anyway, I apologize for my neglect and complete lack of manners. Jim, hope your appointments go well and easy. Greenie, I'm sure your party will be a blast .. they always are!

 Morning.. I got the attached picture in my email this morning from the divine_drag who bought one of my "big girl" rings. I want to come back in my next life as "her/him" Otherwise -- i have to go lay in supplies for the next 5 days. Apparently at midnight started the little 5 day period of time that Nevadans are actually allowed to shoot off fire works. I've always thought that fire+drunks+drought=DISASTER. Doesn't help that starting Sunday it will be around 112 daily. However its a dry heat.  off for my second cup and maybe a bowl of Cheerios.. |

Happy Friday folks!!
Im sorta in a pissy mood today... well since yesterday in fact, first off I finally quit smoking (bluebrit quit on Sat Jun 9th) so its my turn now. So far so good, I dont really miss it except when I have my morning coffee. Yesterday I got a call from the furniture store where we purchased a bedroom set. Was told its coming on thursday so I was excited since we are sleeping in a room with just a bed - then a few hours later we get another call saying the complete set isnt available till Sept!!! wtf! So I told the manager to get a refund ready as I am not prepared to wait till Sept for a bed I purchased in June! (Hate stores that advertise in the paper with great deals and drag you in with promises, only to find out they dont have any items in stock and you have to wait.. I am an impulse buyer and if you dont have it right there for me to take Ill probably not be interested anymore) Now the hard part begins again... finding another set as I live in cottage country there isnt a whole lotta places to shop at for a whole bedroom set, which means we have to drive to the city and pay heaps for delivery when & if we find something we both can agree on. grrrrrr. This is the last room to populate in our new house and im already sick of looking for clothing in boxes - took me ages to find my panties lol! anyway besides that setback business as usual Weather is wonderful today.. not too hot and BlueBrit suggested we take a boat cruise today... hopefully we can get our butts out of the house and take advantage of the great weather! |
