Yesterday was a full day of travel and seeing doctors. Only one thing very quickly today and we are done until next Thursday. It's going to be good not having to go anyplace for a while.

Found out just in time last night before I left for the Hard Rock that the Doobies rescheduled for Saturday. So, I just stayed stoned and worked a bit extra. Another day full of the same today, but first a nap is in order.

Today is personally one of those days which has strong elements of both joy and grief to it. So my intention is to try to find more of the joy and let go of some of the grief.

It's also the second rainy day in a row for the Keys, with yesterday's storms forcing the cancelation of "Pretenders in Paradise". I'm sure the 70,000 or so people who come down to Key West for this year's Fantasy Fest ("Gnomes, Toads & White Rabbit Tea Parties") are hoping the weather clears for tomorrow night's big parade (pics from other years).

Wishing a good day to everyone, whether you want one or not.

Rest Jim, you deserve it.

I was kept in bed for 2 days but being a rebel I woke up yesterday evening and I'm still here.

I am so worried about my little sis... she got her university diploma in April and the museum where she was working that time, unemployed her on May 02, my birthday. Museums are owned by the govt here. She's a restorer and a specialist but there is no need nor money for her nor the others, her ex colleges are also being unemployed step by step and the winter can be tough here.

Her mood is terrible, she told me she goes and starts working in a hypermarket but gets mad from staying at home. I told her that it is not her fault and I am proud of her... she used to be working as an archeologyst assistent too for 2 years and worked together with the physical workers all day if needed. Digging, saving the "treasures" what they found and whatnot. She has been so honest always, I kept asking her to bring me an old coin, not of a big value, just old but she told me to go and buy from the other guys who sell it, she won't do it, even for me.

I don't know what this world is coming to...

today all the frigging local govt crap and banks are closed due to "Nevada Day" which is technically on the 31st but only celebrated on Mondays or Fridays.

I have to go spend some money today which I am loathe to do.. have to actually buy a copy of MSOffice 2007 since my copy of 2003 doesn't work in my new PC. and I really need to buy a printer. Gawd I hate spending $$ of stuff I'd normally get for free.

anyway.. have a good one.. Think of this as a "breathe" day before the start of the holiday madness.

Morning everyone. Took my halloween costume out last night and drank at bar at the beach for free. That has resulted in being just really tired right now and some serious

drinking in order to clear the cobwebs. Actually received some emails I have been waiting for on one project already this morning so that's a very good sign.
