Good Friday before Christmas morning

Good Morning.

Slept in a bit since we went after basketball last night but it was a tame night. Work as usual for me.

Hernia surgery Wednesday was a breeze but they must have pumped me full of antihistamine to keep me from coughing because my nose, mouth, lips and tongue were so dry I was miserable all day thursday and thursday night. Couldn't drink enough water to get hydrated. The surgery felt like a bad bruise but I felt sick from my head being so dried out. Only took 6 of the 20 Lortabs and only took those just in case I started to hurt. Wound up giving my 80 yr. old mom 7 of the 14 I had left over. Got to her house around 1:30 Wed. afternoon and ate a VERY large dinner that night since I hadn't eaten since 7:00 p.m. Tues. night. After dinner I read the discharge papers that said to start with soups and soft fruit then work up to regular meals. Needless to say with the swelling from surgery and a very full stomach I just made myself miserable. I convinced mom I was fine this morning and got back home so I can get some work done.
