 Morning.. it will take me 2 days to recover from all the traveling this week.. of course we only did day trips but i'm exhausted. Went to Rhyolite (an abandoned silver boomtown that is supposedly haunted and then drove up to Furnace Creek in Death valley. Came home and fell into the bed for 12 hours. It's frigging HOT already there. but it was fun and some of the wildflowers are already in bloom. Here are the pics. The last 2 my son was doing saturation with for his graphics class but forgot to save the originals. I have the wonderous Candi coming to clean today and set up my printer..yeah!! I think the RugDawg and I will go to the movies as we do every religious holiday and then have lunch somewhere i can get ham. Have a good one.. and may you have huge easter baskets full of Money today. |

Nice pics. I can't believe we were in Death Valley the first of the month, and the flowers were not blooming like that! What a difference a few weeks make...plus the weather was in low 70s.
We have always wanted to go to Rhyolite, your pics make me want to go this fall. Quote:
