I don't give a fuck what cat they submit it to - I put it where I want it!
As a submitter, there are a few submit form that always screw me up - I'll never figure out why a script writer would "auto-fill" the cat If you want to reduce cat errors, the first thing you need to do is make cat a required field and DO NOT auto-fill it with the first cat in your list. ![]() ![]() ![]() But then I'm the only webmaster working 20-hour days so I guess I'm the only one that misses these things. |

Unless it's the same person that time and again, despite being told via email, submits to the wrong category I don't think it's such a big deal. Like Jim's post indicated not all choices are clear cut and like Papa I put it where I want it anyway.
Chronic offenders and autosubmitters will in time get rejected and eventually banned, but making it into a sport to put down submitters isn't my style.

Anyone who submits knows what a pain in the ass the process is and that after a while, all of those words in the drop down list look the same. If the person is a regular submitter, it seems so petty to reject a site due to them mis-selecting the category. |
