What a wonderful start to a too fucking busy time for us. My Brother came down last week and my 4 year old nephew had a cough which he so cheerfully gave to us so we have both been very sick since Sunday. In my entire life I have never had my heart stolen by any kid like this monster has stolen mine, and I swear I will get even with his goofy grinning ass when he is bigger for getting me sick for the first time in 2-3 years.
Tonight we start moving into our new/larger/better place where I plan to move over the PC's, TV's, and Business/Sex related items as well as the 2 cats and wife and whatever else I can grab with my Jeep, and then bright and early tomorrow (OK, early for me, 10am) the movers get here to do all the grunt work while I stand behind them screaming "NO, NOT THERE, TO THE LEFT 1.25 inches....YOUR OTHER LEFT!!! I SAID 1.25 inches not 1.3 inches!"
Did I mention it will be 97F today, 102F Friday and 98F Saturday?
We then have Saturday and Sunday and Monday and part of Tuesday to get the new house as organized as best as we can so we can go to Curacao with a clear conscious... not that having a guilty conscious would matter to me, I'm still going to that island and smoking my ass off.
Comcast has been brilliant since we moved here last year, when we put in a transfer of service they decided to cut us off 10 days early, so when we figured out it was them and not the modem that we replaced they told us it would take 72 hours to fix so we have been using our phone cards for over a week.
We will be using Verizon DSL at the new place and when we return from the island we will order DirectTV and dump Comcast as much as we can, bust since we have 12 cams running 24/7 (When we have access to the Internets of tubes) I think we are going to try and keep the internet so we would have 2 options instead of just one.
So in short….
COUGH COUGH COUGH!!!!!!!!!
