Good morning world

Today I'm doing what almost all Keys residents do on the major holidays. Staying inside, enjoying the nice cool a/c, and avoiding the influx of tourists who drag their boats, jet skis and motor homes down US-1 for a few days and then drag them all the other direction. Next week we'll celebrate them being gone.

Happy Independence Day to all celebrating today, and good wishes for more independence and more freedom to all who desire it.

We spent July 4th 2002 in Key West and had a blast, and now that I am thinking about it, it was the last time we went anywhere for the 4th. The Conch Republic even put on a fireworks show for us Americans. We spent the night on the roof of the "Garden Of Eden" drinking and getting body paint smeared all over Toni's boobs.


I'm thinking a trip to Key West is needed sometime soon, it has been far too long.
