How many places accept mp4 movies these days?

I have always wondered about MP4 movies - do you just link to them from a screencap?
How do you get it set-up so that the movie plays in the gallery?

When I do it , my browser just downloads the movie - I must be missing something?

Just linking to the mp4 file should work. Do you have something to play mp4 movies installed on your PC, like QuickTime?

I do now

but I still don't get that when I look at Pimproll's movie galleries the movie plays in the browser , but when i make a gallery with the it doesn't

Do you need to set up sort of a player in the gallery?

Nothing goes in the gallery. It sounds like you don't have your MIME types set up correctly on your server.
