Encounter with a bum-need advice

You did the right thing Sarah. You were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. It can happen anywhere in TO now.

I remember once, sitting in my van on Bay, watching a bum stagger down the sidewalk on the south side. A guy in a suit, carrying a briefcase was walking toward him. The bum jumped him without warning, flailing away at him. The guy ducked, spun, hit the bum with his briefcase and jogged up the sidewalk.

It was almost comical, if it wasn't so scary.

Of course, if that had of happened in Washington DC, the guy would have pulled a 9mm and shot the bum right between the eyes. LOL

Ain't life grand?
