Good morning.

I was routing for Boston but wouldn't have mind if Vancouver won, they have a great team. Tim Thomas is playing his best hockey the past 3 years (hurt last year a bit) and is about to gather his 2nd Vezina.

Well Jim finally convinced me to try Carrara to do 3D work in and I spent a rather afternoon yesterday. You have to bring in poser models, re-apply the morphs, the save them as car files. Poser and Carrera sorta-kinda get along but not always, and like any 3D program, the learning curve is steep.

But the reward will be rendering images in less than a minute in Carrera that take me 15 - 30 minutes in poser, which is and slowing down my production. Just tried 3 times to bring in a V4 (the basic female model) I created into Carrara to have it crash on me, so I'm re-building her from scratch. Can't wait until I get her set then it will be easy from that point on with a base.
