It is just a waste of time for you, but for those of us living and travelling in the Olympic "ground zero" it is a fucking nightmare! Half the footpaths and some of the roads I use are closed, and the public transport is packed. The footpaths/towpaths/roads were closed two weeks before the games started, will be closed during both the main Olympics and the Para Olympics, and also during the gap between them. In other words, two whole months of not being able to get anywhere. So think yourself lucky that for you they are only a "waste of time", for some of us it is a "waste of two months of our life".
