Today was cold and wet. The rain is back and this time it brought the cold temperature with it. I was walking my friend's dog in the park and stopped in a rain shelter for some sandwiches. There was already a woman sitting there with her dog, and while the two dogs sniffed each others assholes, the woman looked at the dismal grey sky and the rain, shivered from the cold, then turned to me miserably and said "You know, British summertime officially starts next Sunday!"
