Good morning world

@Cleo - How's this for ridiculous. Since the Keys are a long stretch of islands we have 7 DMV offices along them. Of course we have nowhere near the population to need that many, or even one office in some places. There's one here in Big Pine Key and the three(!) ladies who work there mostly just sit around talking with each other and drop-ins who don't actually need anything but just want to chat.

I know this because a couple of years ago I finally needed to renew my license for the first time since moving down here. So, being used to long lines up on the mainland, I called to make an appointment. The lady on the phone told the other two ladies and they all had a good laugh. Then another laugh when I came into the office to do the renewal, which took no time at all since the women standing in front of me all moved out of the way to let me get right to the counter when I came in. None of them were there to do anything but chat with the ones who worked there.

Anyway...another day in 79º paradise, blah, blah, blah.
