Good morning from my rented, no unexpected costs non money-pit, townhome
![]() Usual day here so far of working. When we sold our home in August 2013 after it taking over a year we decided then and there it will be a while before we own our own home again. They are a FUCKING MONEY PIT. Now with that said, we have no idea where we will be living next year, though we might buy a cottage in the spring LOL. Only because we want a place to call our own if we do travel more and in Ottawa a cottage is $125-200K tops where homes start at $350 normally. |

Eye work today.
Basically they burn bits out of my eyeballs with a laser to slow down the speed I am going blind. Horrible experience, I hate it, but I'd hate being blind more! Stupid thing the hospital do: There is serious risk and serious side effects to the treatment. Side effects - I have lost night vision (legally blind at low light level, and actually blind at very low light level) and may loose peripheral vision. Possible risks - colour blindness and actual blindness in one or both eyes. So obviously I have to sign a waver before each treatment saying I understand these risks and won't sue the hospital if they happen. However they get me to sign the waver after putting eye drops in my eyes so I can no longer read anything. If I were to sue, the waver would be invalid as you have to be able to read something to agree it in British law (or have an independent person read it to you and countersign it as proof they read it to you). |
