Monday November 4th (aka Internal Clock WAY Off)

Morning!

Due to Saturday night's shenanigans followed by Sunday's "early" wake up call, I ended up going to bed at 6PM & waking up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at 2AM

A few things I forgot about Saturday night:

1 - I took my 1st Uber & the ride there was a DOOZY! It was snowing big heavy flakes & visibility was horrendous - possibly the worst I've ever driven in. Then I looked at his dash & he had his high beams on. Anyone that's driven in a snowstorm at night will tell you that makes it SO MUCH WORSE because high beams shine at a much higher angle, causing all these big fluffy snowflakes to reflect the light right back at us. I mention this to him & he starts to fiddle with the arm on the right of the steering wheel... aka the wipers So they go off, on, on high, back off By now, the snow let up a little bit, so whatever. Then I noticed the windshield was fogging up bad, so I mention he might want to turn the fan up a bit, and he does, which is when I noticed he has the temp knob set to about the middle of COLD instead of all the way on HEAT like a sane person would He must've had the floor vents on, because my feet started to freeze shortly after So we get there & I've never been to my buddy's new house, so I ask him what side of the street it's on & he tells me the left. My buddy's a plumber & when I get out, I see a van that says Joe Blow Plumbing (or whatever) on the left. I knock on the door...not his house I apologize, ask what his house number is & it's odd. My buddy's is even I will say the Uber home was perfect... I think

2 - I was considering watching the UFC PPV that night. When I found out my old friend was in town & he was going to my buddy's to "watch the fights", I thought YES!! If you follow boxing, which I do not, you can probably guess what happened when I got to his house

So anyway, gonna work until my mom gets up, then it's the normal Monday crap of grocery shopping, picking up the ASSIL, etc.

Good Morning

Ending up working on a dry creek we down the side of property on Saturday before the party and then again yesterday. I am whooped so I think I'll take today off as I need to run errands anyways. Lots of shoveling and moving rock as it has filled up with debris underneath plus I need to make it wider to deal with heavier downpours we have had over the past few years. Lots of tree roots in the way so that should be fun

I need to finish this before Thanksgiving so that I can let the back can rest up before my surgery beginning of next month.

Other than that stuff I'll throw in some biz and tv to make the day complete.

Nothing much today, been doing some work, will take a nap now, then it's an AA meeting, mostly to just be a little bit social.

Busy day tomorrow, so it's nice to take it a bit slow some days

Good day

Ended up going out and watching football all day. Work is the plan today then going to play basketball tonight
