Good Morning

Okay, I shit you not:

Yesterday evening I'm feeling well enough to shower which felt so fucking good as it had been days. Sure, got some pain, but manageable. Got done, changed and ready to lay on the couch with the wife. Bent over to put dirty clothes in my hamper and boom...back went out FML

Back to bed I go but this time with even more painkillers and ice packs.

The only good news is that even with all that going on it was the best sleep I've had in 6 days so I just gotta look on the bright side of life (you don't have to whistle) during this one step forward two steps back beginning of the new year.

Fingers are crossed that I can sit upright by Monday.
