Tuesday 2022-11-29 aka Giving Tuesday

Morning.

My BIL had blood work at the hospital yesterday morning. The doctor called in the late after and told him to get to the emergency. His liver count and blood calcium levels were the worst they've seen in him. Stuff like this can screw with your brain and heart rhythm.

So, I was with him from 7 pm - 11 pm until they admitted him. A downtown Toronto emergency waiting room is an interesting place to people watch. Anyhow, he's getting a special IV treatment today and we'll see what happens. The downside is that this treatment is less effective every time he gets it. They need to find the root cause (cancer?) to really fix it.

I'm a little tired today because I could't come home and immediately go to bed. I've got to go to his place and get him a change of clothes so much of my day is spoken for.
