Good day

Forgot to pop by earlier or yesterday but I've been working. At it all day today, playing catchup on things I've been putting off that need to get done. I have a few more hours of work to do then maybe some dinner somewhere

I got some bad news yesterday. A friend I golf with and whose daughter used to dance with my daughter for over a decade has been put into palliative care. WTF I just found out he had cancer a few weeks ago. We golfed this summer multiple times. I didn't golf with him in late August but another friend did and said he was complaining about a sore back so sure enough, he got diagnosed with cancer in September. That's ONLY a month ago! It was bad and had spread everywhere, no treatment at all was available

I think he missed Rachael's 50th party, he and his wife were away that weekend. He's not on Facebook but yes, you know "of him". He's the guy I did the Calabogie golf weekends every spring and September with. Gil, his brother-in-law and other friends. When we went away for Shayna's dance from 2004 - 2013, it was with him, his wife and daughter. Great times back then.
