Is it better to fine tune a free site?

I have always been a strong advocate of build, submit, and forget...

but if you have a site that has a snappy title and is doing well at a link list like Link-o-Rama then it is worth having a quick look at it.. fix what you should have fixed initially.. and upload it.

I am sure that will help with staying listed at a good link list... plus helps you realise how much you have grown in your building/site design techniques.
