It sums up my feelings as well, but I would like to know more about the author (David R. Hoffman). A brief Google search shows nothing more than his Pravda.ru articles (let's face it, the front page looks a lot like Weekly World News) and a brief mention that he was once a Professor of Communications (no alma mater given).

He has a long history of profoundly pessimistic anti-Bush articles. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that - just trying to figure out what his cred is. Because if he doesn't have any, I want to be next in line for an editorship at Pravda.ru, so maybe people will start listening to me.
