Same here, nice cool tile floors are definitely looked at as a benefit down here. Funny thing is so many of them are in stilt houses, nowhere near the ground. Still stay cool though.

My entire house is either hardwood or slate, except in the bedrooms which have carpet. I cannot handle the cold wood floor in the morning.
