Same here, nice cool tile floors are definitely looked at as a benefit down here. Funny thing is so many of them are in stilt houses, nowhere near the ground. Still stay cool though.

cold tile floors would not be a pleasant thing to put your feet on as you climb out of bed on wintery mornings-lol

My entire house is either hardwood or slate, except in the bedrooms which have carpet. I cannot handle the cold wood floor in the morning.
