not talking about bank charges (which are bad enough) - but
the falling US$ makes life hard for anybody outside the USA!
Your read complains about it on almost every web board, and the alternatives, like sponsors paying in €uros are still thin on the ground. I got ~2 AUD for every US$ back around 2000, now it's ~1.30 -
that's a drop of 35% in real income before you take into account the falling conversions and other facts! The outlook isn't bright either with Bush running such a hugh budget deficit...
It sucks!
